The stories that we read have always produced a following in it's fans, and from this following, people find themselves always following the stories development, especially when they become movies. Of the biggest followings in the world that has turned into quite a phenomena has been the Twilight Saga. As the fans of these movies grow a strong bond with the characters in these movies, they also look ahead to the other developing movies to see what new characters shall be arising to be featured in the upcoming movies. With all of the new faces that are highly anticipated for the last two released movies, vampire child Renesmee Carlie Cullen is the most anticipated character fans are looking forward to seeing on screen.

Renesmee Carlie Cullen is the child of the beloved human vampire couple, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. After their getting married, Edward and Bella follow in the tradition of their honeymoon and consummate their relationship. The result of their honeymoon was discovering that Bella was pregnant. Though a halfbreed child is not uncommon, it was something that both Edward and Bella was completely unprepared for, as they had no idea what this would be like for Bella, as she is still human carrying this child. Immediately, Bella makes a phone call to Rosalie, the sister of Edward, to make her aware of being pregnant. Upon this, Rosalie commits herself to helping Bella and never leaving her side. She makes sure that Bella has everything that she needs, and defends Bella in a discussion related to the possibility of getting rid of the unborn child. Through a short amount of time, and a series of complications, Bella gives birth to Renesmee Carlie Cullen, and while Bella is going through her vampiric transformation Rosalie takes care of the child.

The name given to Bella and Edward's child is a combination of their families, both Bella's and Edward's. "Renesmee" is a combination of Edward's and Bella's adoptive vampire mother, Esme, and Bella's mother, Rene. Renesmee's middle name is a combination of Bella's father, Charlie, and their adoptive vampire father, Carlisle. The moment that Renesmee Carlie Cullen is born, she is immediately imprinted upon my Jacob Black, the werewolf friend of Bella. Due to the age of Renesmee, Jacob naturally takes the roll as older brother to her, and winds up giving her the nickname, Nessie. Renesmee is described as taking on the physical features of her father, Edward, Bella, and Bella's father Charlie. From Edward, it's said that Renesmee has Edward's facial features and his hair color. From Bella, she has taken on Bella's beautiful brown eyes. From her grandfather, Charlie, she has taken on his curly hair.

What makes the Cullens a special family of vampires is their personal choice to not drink blood, but survive on a diet of blood from animals. It's quickly discovered that Renesmee Carlie Cullen can survive on both vampire and human blood, as surviving on human food is not an option for vampires. As is already known with vampires, they no longer pump human blood through their bodies, however, Renesmee does. It's due to her still being physically alive inside, pumping blood through her body, that her skin is warm to the touch and she is able to blush. The vampires in Stephanie Meyer's books instead of bursting into flames when they step out into the sunshine, they sparkle as though their skin is encrusted with diamonds. Because Renesmee's skin is that of a half human half vampire, in this story, her skin only partially shines when she's in the sunlight. Though her skin is warm to the touch, unlike her father's skin which is cold as stone, her skin is still tough as stone like her kindred vampire kind. Even though she is able to survive on eating both human food and blood, she prefers to drink the blood of animals.

When Bella is turned into a vampire, she develops the rare ability to block her mind from all those that would try to intrude her thoughts, a skill much like the one she possessed when she was human, except much more enhanced in her vampiric state. Bella is now able to project a psychic barrier around those around her to guard them from those who want to intrude their thoughts. Edward, has quite the opposite ability, where he is able to read the thoughts of those around him. Their daughter has taken a different turn in her abilities, where she is able to penetrate any psychic shield that a vampire has up around them, and through touch, can transmit thoughts into a person's mind. Within several days after being born, she shows signs of begin very intelligent like both of her parents, as she begins to speak complete sentences. Shortly after this time, she immediately learns to read, hunt, run, and control her other vampire abilities. The entire family quickly falls in love with Renesmee Carlie Cullen, as they all find that she is nothing like what they had feared. It's believed through the Volturi, the royal family of vampires, that children vampires have no responsible sense to control their vampiric urges. Because of this, the Volturi make a trip in efforts of killing Renesmee. Forming a united front complete with the entire Cullen family and friendly vampire covens from around the world, they defend Renesmee Carlie Cullen.

Revealing the end result of what happens with the fate of Renesmee Carlie Cullen would give away more of the movie. However, it's a known fact that through reading the books and looking up the information on the Internet that Renesmee will age at an accelerated pace. In seven years, she will age from the tiny child that she is, into a teenager of the age of 17. She will be able to live an eternal life as her parents, but at the point that she hits the age of 17, she will no longer physically age past that time. The birthing of Renesmee Carlie Cullen is also responsible for closing the feuding gap between Rosalie and Bella, as Rosalie expresses in the third installment of the Twilight movies and books, "Eclipse", that she has always wanted for children of her own, and because she can't, she can't completely say that she agrees with existence. With the birth of Renesmee, Rosalie is able to live out her dream of having children in helping Bella raise the child, care for her, and love her, resulting in the disillusionment of Rosalie's bitterness towards her own existence.
